Sitting in with Allure Graphix

www.alluregraphix.com

As they celebrate their third year in business we had a chat with the team leader of  ALLURE GRAPHIX the renowned graphics design company based in Akure the capital city of Ondo state. We got talking of how they started and the challenges they faced over the years. Enjoy!!

AMO:Introduce yourself?

M.E: My name is Michael Ekanem, Team leader at Allure Graphix

AMO: so where did Allure Graphix come from?

M.E: Allure Graphix means Attractive Graphics from the word allure. We create compelling visuals that meets our clients business objectives

AMO: so what motivated the need to create it, why not a marketing company or something?

M.E: We had the passion for beauty, we saw that people aren't communicating visually well enough and above all to we formed the company to fight the ugliness we see around

AMO: So how many people are amongst the founding members?

M.E: 4 of us

AMO: so how has the business environment been especially when you started and what has kept your business flowing?

M.E: What kept the business going is the results we produce and our clients and other people love it and the business environment has been good

AMO: did you need much to start up as young entrepreneurs feel it's expensive to start a business?

M.E: We started with a few thousands and we built from there

(What a few thousand started )

AMO: wow that's nice and I guess that's also very encouraging but what has been the challenges you faced?

M.E: First electricity, then network problem when its time to deliver a job to a client far away. Emmmm... That's basically it

AMO: But how have you been able  to work across this limiting factors seeing that they are very important instruments in a business like yours?

M.E: We find other ways!

AMO: like?

M.E: Buying ridiculously expensive fuel and patiently waiting for network to be back up

AMO: So seeing the general progress of this company what are your future plans/targets?

M.E: First we will continue to improve on our product and services as well as continually fight the ugliness. We are looking to increase our capacity outside our immediate environment.

AMO: So from experience could you relate to those start up companies or young business owners? (final words)

M.E: Most young people out there complain that there is no money to start a business, I asked a guy what what his plans for business are and right there,he started thinking. First u don't need money to start anything. Get your ideas and draw out your plan, after that naturally and easily, you'll figure out a way  to get the cash. I mean I won't believe u if u tell me u need N2million to start a business without see any laid down plan. So work on your ideas first.

AMO: Thanks so much for your time

M.E: You're welcome and thank you
